Exit Process Out of Mexico
It is important to understand that everyone born in Mexico or to a Mexican surrogate is considered a Mexican citizen.
Under Mexican law, all Mexican citizens — irrespective of dual citizenship — must produce/present a Mexican passport to enter and exit out of Mexico.
No arrival tax (visa costs) is charged upon entry into Mexico for most of the countries. However please check if you currently require a visa to enter Mexico on the official website. Everyone who is travelling into Mexico without a Mexican passport is allowed to stay in the country for up to 180 days.
The exit process may vary significantly depending on your nationality and situation so please feel free to contact us so we can provide a further explanation for the exit process for you! Moreover, we recommend to all our intended parents to consult a local lawyer/solicitor which will help you understand the nuances of the exit process for surrogacy.
